Kubicki Lineage

Cathy was curious about her family ancestry. Her husband's family ancestry was well documented, and she only knew the anecdotes and lore that her parents had told her - that her family was of Polish and Russian descent.  And she believed that her ancestors had arrived in America in the early part of the 20th century.

 

She approached me with the question - could you tell me when my great-grandparents in my father’s lineage came to America? She had known her grandparents and knew that they had been born in America. Her assumption was that her great-grandparents were the immigrants. 

 

And so the investigation into this great family story began...

 

My research into her paternal lineage determined that her 2nd Great-Grandfather, Joseph Kubicki immigrated with his family to America in 1875.
